It's already mid January!

Whew! We're already almost into mid January. How time flies!

Things have been a little slow at work, which is a good thing, I think eveyone in my office deserves a good break after our year end closing last year. It was ridiculous crazy in the last quarter of the year. But the agents here are still as nasty and unreasonable as always. Honestly, what else is new about them? NOTHING! Ah, I don't want too rant about work here, because it's not like nicest thing to do.

On a lighter note, its going to be Chinese New Year soon. It's going to be a long weekend for me, and Seng's buddy, Chan is organising a get together with the gang for the new year, as we always do every year. It would also a great time for all of us to sit down and talk and discuss about the ROM, as once the lunar new year ends, it's going to be another 2 months to our ROM. And the way time flies, by, we would be even more busy preparing for it from towards end Febuary all the way through to March. It's exciting, but also kind of overwhelming. When you get into the nitty-gritty detail, you kind of realised that there is alot alot to look into. Seng and I also have to look into the details of the meet the parents session. Lol!

Exercise, is kind of getting no where. Been so tired of late. But I'm always tired.. Hmm..

~~~
Eventually, I did not get onto the treadmill. Dang! I really need to do something about my motivation. But I'm feeling good about not eating rice for dinner, and I'm still feeling rather good, but I might be really hungy in the morning though. But that's ok, I'll just take a heavier breakfast and it will all be fine. I've already told Mum not to cook my share of rice for dinner from this week on, so as to lower my intake of carbs and prevent over eating in the evenings, which I realise that it tends to happen alot.
I'll be heading to Timbre at the Arts House tomorrow evening after work with some of my colleagues. Cindy is leaving us 19 Jan, and will be flying off to Australia for further studies on 15 Feb. I'm so going to miss her! She such a wonderful girl. I'm definately going to miss chatting with her at work. Also going to miss our combine teasing of Amber, another colleague of ours. Haha! But yeah, I'm happy for her that she's going overseas to pursue her studies, which is obviously a good thing. =D
Well, technically, it is already Friday, and I should be getting to bed. Another day of work, and an evening of fun when I get up and out of bed. Then the weekends, which I'm going to catch up on my rest. I really REALLY need to get back into the habit of being the first one in bed every night. Even as early as 1030pm, and with my family asking where I am, only to realise that I'm already asleep in bed. Haha!
Stay happy and healthy everyone.
Love,
Qiuru xx
It's 2011...
Whew! I have not be able to update my blog last year. I've been so busy at work, and really tired at the end of the day to update. And before I know it, it's already the new year!
First of all... HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! Wishing y'all a blessed new year, and many good things happening to you this year! =D
Well, it's going to be a mad rush for me this year, because I'm getting married this year. I'll be having my solemnisation on 23 April and my traditional wedding on 25 September. I still have so much to look into, the details will be updated in my wedding blog, which I really should get around to updating. I promise that I will get to it, once I'm done with this entry. But yeah, I'm excited, and happy and kind of going nuts with the planning, preparation and the nitty gritty details. But it's been a long time coming.
Well, I think that it's going to be a good year this year with my wedding coming up, and things at work have been good of late. I'm just hoping that this year will be the year that I'll get to do more underwriting, so I don't feel like I made the wrong decision coming into NBU.
On the health part, I really do need to buck up on diet and exercise. Ok, I might have problems with the diet part, but I think I can do a whole lot more better on the exercise part. My resolution this year is to get up and exercise more, trying to up my routines to 3-4 times a week. I really need to considering that I've only 4 months left to my ROM, but more importantly, 9 months to my traditional wedding. But the bigger picture would be that I'll be in good health and in good shape for anything that comes my way.
I guess that's about it, other than the fact that Chinese New Year would be coming up early Feburary.
Meantime, take care everyone! Have a happy and healthy 2011!
